B.K.S. Iyengar is a Yoga guru who founded the Iyengar Method of Yoga and his teachings have been translated into many languages and spread across the world. In his books, he describes the benefits of yoga for health and personal development. The Iyengar Method of Yoga is a system of yoga group classes that was created by B.K.S. Iyengar, a yoga teacher and author from India who formulated the system in response to the needs of people with an active lifestyle in the West. The system has three components: an individualized class, a series of self-practice exercises, and an accompanying book which includes more than 100 poses and stretches for self practice. The idea behind the Iyengar Method is to provide a personal, customized workout for each person. My life has changed so much since I started practicing yoga.
